At Zitro Construction Services, we thrive on the unique challenges of being a custom home builder. It is good to know that we are already highly specialized with Kitchen Remodeling, Bathroom Remodeling, Additions, Whole Home Renovations, and Handicap Accessibility. Our goal is to help you navigate the vision as well as all the details to building your dream home.
As a leading Baton Rouge Construction Contractor, we are excited to promote our specialty by walking you through a home we built here. This 3 bedroom 2 bathroom home on Mayflower Street is 1700 sf with off street parking and a subsurface drainage system.
The exterior was completed using cement siding, board and batten shutters and a bead board ceiling.
Entering the home shows the main living area and its open floor plan.
The open floor plan shows the large 8 ft kitchen island which was painted midnight blue to give the space a unique look.
The lighting for the kitchen and living areas were completed using LED fixtures with a matte black finish.
The bedrooms were completed using luxury vinyl plank flooring and pure white paint to keep the space with an open feel.
This angle shows the master bathroom. Notice the black shaker all wood cabinets. A white quartz was used to complete the tub top and vanity counter while a large white subway tile finished out the walls of the tub surround.
This hall bathroom tub area was completed using a light gray beveled porcelain tile. Notice the vessel sink for the vanity cabinet. The mirrors were trimmed out with a black frame.
The kitchen was completed using stainless steel appliances and custom built woods shelves which were stained to match the flooring. The cabinets are a white shaker with white quartz countertops.
We are happy to have been able to build this new home for a family to enjoy for many years to come.
While we enjoy sharing the finished Home Build, here are just a few images to show the home that was on the lot before Zitro came to demolish it. Then we show the preparation of the foundation slab with the necessary vapor barrier and steel rebar being installed. This entire foundation was built within a concrete retaining wall area that was only 30 feet wide.
Next we can see the plumbing layout for the bathrooms and the kitchen. The foundation is just about ready to pour concrete at this stage of the construction process.
