The kitchen is a centerpiece of the family home with many options to consider when going through the remodeling process. Here is our story for a recent Baton Rouge Kitchen Remodel.
The stain used for the island was a custom match to the owners existing family chairs. The range tile backsplash is a 4×4 pearl white tile. The upper cabinets to the right of the kitchen sink were completed with wood mullions and clear glass to match the entry doors in the house. The walls and backsplash for the kitchen were all covered with a nickel gap siding and painted schoolhouse white.
The island cabinet was completed by applying a custom stain, dark receptacles and pendant lighting.
The kitchen remodel included the installation of two separate stone counter types and colors. The main counter was completed using a honed super black granite with custom cabinets painted in a school house white from Benjamin Moore.
We did much more than just remodeling the kitchen. As a leading Baton Rouge Home Renovation specialist, we worked on many other areas of the interior and exterior. The main living room exterior wall was remodeled by removing an exterior door and framing in two large slider windows with grids. A glue down wood flooring was installed throughout the project.
The project included the installation of a new roof and the replacement of the entire soffit and fascia system on the home. The front door was replaced with a new cypress entry door and stained to match the island cabinet inside the kitchen.
Now we go back inside where the dining area was reframed to include a half vault of the ceiling. This half vault was covered with custom built wood beams and nickel gap siding. A new custom wood bench was built for exterior wall. A perfect place to enjoy morning breakfasts or evening meals.
